アメリカで国立公園の風景を楽しむ<Enjoy Landscape of Yellowstone national park>

 これまでYellowstone国立公園で楽しんだキャンプの様子や野生動物などを別の記事にした。

 <So far, I reported I enjoyed camping and watching wild animals in the park.>

今回はYellowstoneの最後の記事として風景について記録する。

<In this blog, I report the landscape of Yellowstone.>

まず、国立公園の入り口にはこのようなゲートがあることが多い。

 <As an entrance, usually national parks have such gates.>

年間パスを見せる。持っていなければここでも購入可能だ。カードの裏に油性マジックでサインする。二人まで登録可能なので、友達とシェアすることも可能だ。

<I showed annual pass. If I don't have, I can buy it here. It is needed to sign on the back side. It is possible to share with friend because two people can sign on it.>

地図が必要かと聞かれ、上質な紙に観光スポットの写真と一緒に印刷された地図と一緒に最新情報が記載された数ページの案内誌をもらった。

<I got a map that was printed with  pictures, also I got a handbill that included letest information.>

コロナ渦下で再開園して間もないこの日（2020年7月3日）は、園内の一部（TowerJunction~CanyonVillage）が通行止めになっていた。

<A few days ago, the park resumed, and one road was still closed.> 

まず、予約したCanyonVillageのキャンプ場に向かい、チェックインの後、その近くにあるLowerYellowstoneFallsに向かった。

 <At first, I checked in my reserved campgrand, then I enjoyed LowerYellostoneFalls that locats near the campgrand.>

NorthRimDriveは一方通行だ。おそらく混雑を避けるためだろう。なぜならRedRockPointなどいくつかのViewPointから見る滝の景色はあまりに有名だ。

<NorthRimDrive is one direction way. It seems to avoid traffic jam, because the scenary from several viewpoints are famous and fascinates everyone.>

渓谷の荒々しさと奥の滝から続く獏流を観ていると時間が経つのを忘れてしまう。

<Visitor could reach a state of mental detachment when they watch the steep and rough canyon walls and the torrent from the falls.>

一日目はこの周辺の散策のみで、前日の長時間ドライブの疲れもありキャンプ場に戻った。

<I enjoyed around there, then went back to the campsite.>

二日目は公園のGrandLoopRoadの南側を回り、三日目は北側を楽しんだ。

<On the second day, I visited south part of GrandLoopRoad, and third day, I continued enjoying North side.>

無数の温泉があり、それぞれ色や雰囲気が異なり、どれも神秘的だった。

<There are uncounterble hot springs, and each one has own color and mysterious  atmosphere.>

温泉は信じられないほどに透き通っていた。
<Hot spring water is uncredibly clear.>

流れ出る温泉の湯気と含有物が作る造形も周りの大自然の中でひときわ目立っていた。

<The rising steam and the landforms that were made with hot spring agents are quite differentiate in the nature scinary.>

いくつもの間欠泉の中で、一番有名なのはOldFaithfulだろう。

<The most popular geyser should be OldFaithful.>

コロナのために公園内は閑散としていたが、この間欠泉が吹き上がる時間だけは大勢の観光客が集まった。
<Due to COVID19, the park was quiet, but a lot of visitors gathered when it stans up.>
火山性の岩石地形も見ごたえがあった。

<It is also worthfull to see the volcanic landforms.>

これは豊岡にあった玄武洞と同じものだ。

<This is the same with "Genbudo" in Toyooka, Japan>

一方、こんな光景も見られた。山火事で焼失した見渡す限りの広大な森だ。既に新しい木が1mぐらいまで伸びてきていた。

<On the other hand, I also watched a large burned forest as far as my eye can see. And baby trees were growing.>

どちらを向いても見とれてしまう風景だ。

<The scenary fascinates not only me but all visiters.>
