アメリカの滝を楽しむ <Enjoy Pather Creek Falls>

今週は数日間雨が降り、山火事による空気の汚染が改善された。

<There were several rainy days, and air condition that was poruted by mountain fires was improved.>

国有林内にあるPather Creek Fallsに行ってみた。

<I visited Panther Creek Falls that locates in National forest.>

なお、国有林を楽しむためには、国立公園と同じパスが有効だ。

<As a note, for enjoying National forest, National parks pass is valid.>

年会費は安く、数回行けるなら年間パスを買うほうがお得だ。

<Anual fee is resonable, so if you can visit several times, you shoud buy it.>

トレイルの入り口には大きな駐車場があった。

<There is a large car parking at the trail.>

国有林内は多くのトレイルがあり、ハイキングをするには最高だ。

<There are many trails in National forests. The trails are excellent for hiking.>

厳しい自然の中、土砂崩れや倒木なども多いが、常に良い状態に保っていただいていることに感謝する。

<With severe wether, there are a lot of mad slides and fallen trees, even so, they are  always in good condition. I appreciate it.>

このワシントン州はクマが多いことで有名らしい。

<Washington state seems to be famos for having many bears.>

いつもクマスプレーを持参し、さらにクマベルをつけて歩くが、アメリカではつけている人はいない。

<I usually bring bear spray and bear bell. But few people use the bell in USA.>

効き目があるのかと聞かれることがよくある。であったことがないのでわからない。

<I'm often asked if it works. I haven't met them, so I'm not sure if it works.>

大きなベルの音をたてるのでサンタクロースかと聞かれたことがある。

<Bacause of big bell sound, I have been asked if I'm Santa Claus.>

ちなみにこれはからかったのではない。アメリカ人はとにかくお喋り好きだ。いつでもだれとでもおしゃべりするきっかけを探している。

<By the way, it was not making fun of me. US people like chatting, and they are looking for a chance to start talking to another people.>

そうこうしている間に到着だ。

<Within a few minutes, I arrived.>

決して有名ではない滝だが素晴らしい。

<They are not famus falls, but excellent!!>
