クレータ・レイク国立公園を楽しむ<Enjoy Crater Lake National Park>
9月27日にCrater Lake 国立公園(Crater Lake National Park (U.S. National Park Service) (nps.gov))を訪問したので記録する。
<I visited Crater Lake National Park on September 27.>
当公園はオレゴン州の南部に位置し、自宅から約250マイルの位置にある。
<It locates in the south of Oregon st.>
入場料金は、車は$30/7日間らしいが、もちろん自分は年間パスで入場した。
<The entrance fee is $30/7days, but I used Annual pass.>
単なる火口ではなくカルデラ湖だ。
<The crater is explosion caldera.>

カルデラの直径は３マイルぐらいだから阿蘇のカルデラよりも少し小さいぐらいだ。
<The diameter of the caldera around 3 miles, so it is a little bit smaller than Mt. Aso in Kumamoto prefecture.>
しかしこの中がすべて水で満たされている風景は圧巻だった。
<Mountains are surrounding the big lake, and it's spectacular scenery.>
クレーターを周回する公園道路を車で１周すると1.5~2時間ぐらいだと思う。
<It took 1.5~2 hours by car to go around the crater.>
幾つかのView Pointで車を停めて、景色を楽しんだ。トレイルはあまりなかった。
<I enjoyed sceneries at several view ponts.>
実はこの公園に来た目的は星空を撮ることが第一だった。
<In fact, the main purpose of visitting the park was taking night stars photograph.>
事前に光害マップで星空写真に適した場所を探している際にこの場所を見つけた。
<I decided to visit it when I checked light polution map.>
当公園の0.172mcd/m2という夜空の暗さは、大台ケ原や十津川よりも暗く、星空撮影初心者の自分に適していると考えた。
<The brightness of 0.172mcd/m2 is lower than Odaigahara or Totsukawa in Wakayama, so I thought it is good for beginer photographer like me.>
ちなみに星空撮影を始めてまだ１か月も経っていない。
<It has been less than a month since I started taking night stars photograph.>
この日は、昼間はよく晴れていたが、夕方から雲が出始めた。
<The daytime was sunny, but clouds appeared at the evening.>
雲が切れている間に何枚かの写真を撮った。
<I took some photographs.>
Canon R, 24mm, f4, ISO6400, 25secで撮影した。撮影後にCanonのDPPで明るくした。
<After taking photos, I developed RAW data and made it bright.>
レンズはセットレンズでf4が解放側のmaxだ。
<The lens is zoom lens that was set with camera, and f4 is the maximum apercher.>
レイクの北側から南側の天の川を風景と一緒に撮りたかったが、風景は山の稜線だけしか見えない。皆さんがどうやっているのか？また勉強しよう。
<I took it from the noth side of the lake and wanted to take the Milky Way with the landscape, but the only mountain ridges I could see on the picture. How do everyone do it? I'll study again.>
北側の空も星が沢山観えたので撮影してみた。カメラの設定は同じだ。
<I saw a lot of stars in the northan sky as well.>
この後、公園のすぐ傍のデシューツ国有林(Deschutes National Forest)の中でキャンプをしようと思っていたが、天気予報では夜中から雨だったのでFree Wayの休憩スペース(Beaver Marsh Rest Area)で車の中で夜を明かすことにした。
<After this, I was going to camp in the Deschutes National Forest right next to the park, but the weather forecast called for rain from midnight, so I spent the night in the car at the Free Way Rest Area (Beaver Marsh Rest Area).>
