アメリカから日本への帰国前COVID検査<COVID-test before leaving from USA>
1月9日にポートランドを出発し、サンフランシスコ空港で羽田行きに乗り換え帰国した。
<I left PDX on January 9 and transfered the airplain at SFO, then I arrived HND in this morning.>
羽田着が1月11日だったので、結果的にはアメリカ出国前のCOVID検査は必須ではなかったが、それも受けたので記録する。
<Because of the arrival on J/11, it was not needed to take COVID-test before leaving USA.>
13日以降は州にかかわらず出国前検査が必要となったので参考にしてほしい。
<January 13 and the after, it will be needed, so I hope this article will help someone.>
新年が明けた時点で、アメリカでも新型が見つかりコロラド・フロリダ・カリフォルニアが出国前検査が必須となっていた。
<At the begining of this year, new type of COVIDs were found in US, the people come from Colorado, Florida or Califrnia must take the predeparture test.>
いつ住居地のワシントン州や利用空港があるオレゴン州が指定されるかもわからず、日本政府指定のCOVIDテストを受けることができる医療機関を探した。
<I'm afrad that Washington or Oregon will be specified, so I looked for the medical center.>
年始で休みのところが多くなかなか電話がつながらなかった。
<It was not easy to contact them via phone due to holiday of the beginning of the year.>
せっかくつながっても短時間で結果が出る簡易評価がほとんどで日本指定の方法はできないと言われた。
<Even when I could contact with them, many of them said they can do rapid-test that is difference from Japanese government specified.>
ようやく簡易評価ではないところを見つけることができたが、結果が出るまで3~5日とのことだった。
<At last, I could founfd that it is not rapid-test. However, the test takes 3~5 days for conpletion.>
日本指定は出発前72時間以内の検査が必要なので、時間的に間に合わない。
<In Japanese govenment rule, the test should be done within 72hours. If I take it, it doesn't work.>
簡易検査ではなく、結果をe-mailで送り返してくれる医療機関を探した。
<I looked for not -rapid-test and repling by email.>
2つ日間で30件ぐらい電話したと思う。
<I guess I called 30 medical center in two days.>
ポートランドのダウンタウンにUrgentCareは通常48~72時間で結果が出るとのことだった。
<I heard "Ugent care" in Portland down town can conclude within 48~72 hours usualy.>
さらにe-mailで送ってくれるとのことだった。
<Additionally, they can send it by email.>
これ幸いと7日の朝一番に予約した。
<I luckly took an appointment to take the test on 7.>
しかし当日受付で異なる説明を受けた。
<However, I received another explanation at the testing day.>
やはり3~5日。e-mailは可能とのことだった。
<It takes 3~5 days. They can send it by email.>
その時、幸運にも検査を行っている若いドクターが受付に出てきて、PCR法ではなくLAMP法は15分で結果が出るし、日本指定の方法だと教えてくれた。
<At that time, in very luckly, one young doctor came to the front desk and explained LAMP test can conclude within 15minutes, and it is specified byn Japanese government.>
検査費用$199を支払った。
<I payed $199 for the test.>
そのまま車の中で待ち、その医者が綿棒で鼻から採取し15分後に日本指定のフォームにネガティブ結果を書き込んで渡してくれた。
<I was waiting in my car, then the young doctor came and took my evaluation fluid from my nose. I got the negative result 15 minutes later with Japanese govern ment form.>
