Enjoy Byodouin temple in Kyoto Japan
I visited Boudoin on August 23, 2021. (世界遺産 平等院 (byodoin.or.jp)
It is ”World Heritage site". It takes 25minutes by car from Kyoto station, it's convenient for visitors who want enjoy japanese temple but don't have enough time.
I visited there by my car. There are many car parking around it, and the parking fee is 700 Yen, $7 for one day. It takes 2~3 minutes from parking to the entrance of Byoudouin. The entrance fee is 600 Yen, $6.
The area is not so big, so it takes 30 minutes for walking around and see several buildings. Additionally, I recommend to enjoy musium. It takes 20 minutes. If you want to enter "Hoohdou" that is the main building, it's possible. The entrance fee is 300 Yen, $3.
It is pictureed on surface of Japanese coin, 10 Yen.
Recently (maybe a few years ago), it was refablished, and the color is glorious.
