アメリカの朝市を楽しむ<Enjoy farmers market in USA>

アメリカでは多くの町で週末に朝市を開催している。

<Many towns have farmers market. >

観光地としても有名なサンタバーバラの朝市に行ってみた。

<I enjoyed farmers market in Santa Barbara that is famous as a good sightseeing town.>  

お祭りのようなものをイメージしていたが毎週末やっているだけあってそれほど混んではいない。

<I imaged it was packed with a lot of people like Japanese summer festival. but it wasn't crowded. I think it's because of openning enevy weekend.>

大量買いする人もいるし、普通にスーパーで買い物する感覚なのかと思った。

<There are some people who bought a lo of goods, so I thought visitors were shopping the same way as they would be shopping at supermarket.>

別の町の朝市にも行ったときには、コーヒーショップやメキシコ料理の店などがあったが、ここには無かった。ルールが違うのだろう。

<When I enjoyed another farmers market, Isaw coffee shop and Mexican food shop, but there wasn't such shop. The reguration may be different.>

　

色とりどりの花、果物、野菜などを売るお店が、70～80軒ぐらいあったと思う。同じようなお店が多いので、品ぞろえが多いというわけではなかった。

<There were 70 to 80 shops, and were selling many colorful flowers, fruits, Vegitables. Several shops have a similor selection.>

　

お店の人とのおしゃべりを楽しみながら買い物されているようだ。

<Visitors seem to enjoy talking with shop people.>

自分は3種類のベリーと日本酒の味・風味のようなワインを購入した。

<I got three kinds of Berry and a wine that tasts like Japanese Sake.>

ベリーは普通においしかった。

<Berry is good.>

ワインに関しては、日本酒好きな私はとても気に入った。スーパーには置いていないので、おそらくサンタバーバラに行かないと買えないものだろう。

<As for th wine, I prefar it because I also like Sake. There isn't the wine in supermarket, so it may be needed to go Santa Barbara to buy it.>
